My name is Kenneth Wajda. I am a professional photojournalist and commercial photographer living in the small town of Lyons, Colorado, just north of Boulder.

What I really am is a storyteller. I tell stories with images created with a camera, a very special camera—a Leica rangefinder which is a camera of distinction, a hand-crafted German-engineered instrument that has been used to photograph many legendary people. And now you! In the style of a magazine personality portrait, not a photo studio's portrait.

Colorado Faces began with a desire to photograph some of the amazing faces I see in public, faces of people who I've never met. People with amazing individual stories (we all have them) and the life on the street captured in a frame.

I combine their portrait and their street images here on this site and eventually would like to use some of the images in a book.

If I met you and made your portrait, thank you again for allowing me to have a little of your time and learn a little about your life. Please visit the gallery to see your photograph, request a print and share the photograph with your friends.

I am also creating "1 Day In a Life" portrait series. This is a very exciting type of documentary book and gallery project.
